Courtney Bowen, M.D., earned a medical degree from University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine. She completed a family medicine residency at UAB Family Medicine in Huntsville, AL, where she served as chief resident during her final year.
Dr. Bowen is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and specializes in managing chronic medical conditions, behavioral medicine and preventive health.
Throughout residency, Dr. Bowen received numerous accolades, including the Academic Achievement Award for the highest board score in their residency class and program history, and the Program Improvement Award for implementing impactful changes to enhance residency success.
Outside of work, Dr. Bowen enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She is also active in her church community and enjoys running and outdoor activities.
